For our brokerage business, we are seeking to recruit AML Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting external consultants in matters of developing and implementing an effective compliance program – to remove or to keep this way?
• Create a sound internal controls framework and monitor adherence to it
• Draft, revise and implement company policies and procedures
• Conduct AML/CFT and business-wide risk assessments to identify and mitigate any risks
• Ensure implementation of the “Know Your Customer” principles and the Customer Acceptance Policy
• Ensure adherence to the anti-money laundering policies and procedures in line with the legal and regulatory requirements
• Develop appropriate mechanisms to provide timely updates to employees regarding changes in the legal and regulatory frameworks
• Proactively audit processes and practices to identify weaknesses
• Conduct inspections and desk reviews to identify possible compliance breaches
• Educate and train employees on existing and new regulations and industry practices
• Provide ongoing advice and guidance to employees
• Keep abreast of international standards and best practices
• Monitor and ensure submission by employees of all regulatory reports
• Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as appropriate
• Collaborate with external auditors when needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as AML Manager
• Solid expertise in Anti-Money Laundering regulations and Sanctions Programs
• Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
• Integrity and professional ethics, business acumen
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail
• BSc/BA in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• CySEC AML and Advanced certification is a must
• Fluent English, Greek is a big advantage
• Experience in risk management is an advantage
