Legal Counsel

Wise Wolves Group’s NEW company, SWISS Zeit Capital AG, established to provide Asset Management and Custody services for Digital Assets, is building a team of professionals.

We are looking for Legal Counsel to join our new team and contribute to the overall development of this new venture.

What you will do:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice across a broad spectrum of expertise, ensuring compliance with Swiss financial regulations, particularly in asset management and cryptocurrency.
• Support the company’s operational activities, ensuring smooth daily functions while identifying and mitigating legal risks, maintaining client confidentiality, and managing risks.
• Draft, review, and finalize contracts and other legal documents to safeguard the company’s interests, including in the context of license extension and regulatory compliance.
• Manage relationships with external parties, including regulators (FINMA), external counsel, and public authorities, to maintain and strengthen trusted partnerships.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and assist in corporate governance, advising the board on legal matters and compliance with corporate laws.
• Oversee data privacy and cybersecurity compliance, ensuring alignment with Swiss and international regulations to protect client information.
• Handle dispute resolution, including litigation and arbitration, to minimize operational disruptions.
• Provide legal support for cross-border transactions and develop training programs on relevant legal and regulatory issues for staff.

What will help you to achieve the best result at work:

You are an experienced Legal Counsel, preferably with understanding of compliance matters, who understand the complexities within the blockchain industry and hold the following:

• Degree in Law, with a sound understanding of trust management, business structuring, and corporate and fiduciary management.
• At least 5+ years of experience in legal, experience in crypto compliance regulation is a plus
• Good understanding of the Blockchain/Crypto Asset laws and regulations
• Exceptional professional ethics and unwavering integrity.
• A growth mindset, coupled with sharp judgment and analytical prowess.
• Effective communication skills.
• A well-organized self-starter who can work independently
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• Ability to adapt to and learn new software or technology tools quickly.
• Mobility between Zurich and Zug.
