Quantitative Analyst/ Trader (crypto)

Wise Wolves Group’s NEW company, Tokenomica Bridge, has acquired a license in the crypto business in Cyprus and is building a team of professionals.

Our new role is Quantitative Analyst/ Trader (crypto). You must have experience working as a Trader for a Crypto brokerage, along with a proven trading track record to be considered for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement effective trading strategies to achieve optimal returns while minimizing potential losses.
• Execute trades on various cryptocurrency exchanges.
• Research crypto market trends, use data analysis and trading metrics to identify market inefficiencies and opportunities, determine how to improve risk management techniques and develop, maintain and improve crypto trading models and systems.
• Participate in daily trade research, preparation, analysis, decision-making, and execution.
• Develop and implement effective trading strategies to achieve optimal returns while minimizing potential losses.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on different cryptocurrencies, blockchain projects, and market dynamics to make informed trading decisions.
• Manage and maintain trading accounts, including portfolio balancing and risk assessment.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and trading goals.
• Conduct quantitative research, develop mathematical trading models and strategies, establish metrics for risk and performance, and develop software.

Requirements:

• Degree in Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics or Finance preferred with demonstrated academic excellence
• Excellent logical analytical skills.
• Exceptional understanding of and experience with common data science toolkits.
• Experience with financial markets, especially in market microstructure, algorithmic trading, signal development, and backtesting mid to high-frequency strategies.
• Expertise in applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regressions.
• Excellent understanding of and some experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Great communication skills and data-oriented personality.
• Work in the Limassol office is preferred, subject to discuss with the final candidate.
