Wise Wolves Group is strengthening its team. Our people are our guarantee of our wellbeing future. For our Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP), we are seeking to recruit an AMLCO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement an effective AML/CFT compliance program
• Create a sound internal controls framework and monitor adherence to it
• Draft, revise and implement company policies and procedures
• Conduct AML/CFT and business-wide risk assessments to identify and mitigate any risks
• Ensure implementation of the “Know Your Customer” principles and the Customer Acceptance Policy
• Ensure adherence to the anti-money laundering policies and procedures in line with the legal and regulatory requirements
• Develop appropriate mechanisms to provide timely updates to employees regarding changes in the legal and regulatory frameworks
• Proactively audit processes and practices to identify weaknesses
• Conduct inspections and desk reviews to identify possible compliance breaches
• Educate and train employees on existing and new regulations and industry practices
• Provide ongoing advice and guidance to employees
• Keep abreast of international standards and best practices
• Monitor and ensure submission by employees of all regulatory reports
• Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as appropriate
• Collaborate with external auditors when needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as AML compliance officer in CASP or other digital/crypto asset business
• Solid expertise in Anti-Money Laundering regulations and Sanctions Programs
• Experience with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency transactions
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks
• Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
• Integrity and professional ethics, business acumen
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail
• BSc/BA in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• CySEC AML certification is a must
• Any Crypto asset or blockchain certificate is an advantage
• Fluent English, Greek is an advantage
• Experience in risk management is an advantage
